This is a late review, but if you are looking for a natural lash look from a professional perspective this is the place to come. My lashes are always on point! I love this spot....

I found Pretty Eyebrows on Google in search for a place to do henna for me. U stop in the shop back in July of 2016. That's when I met my now sister friend Sumi and later I met her sister Urmila...these are two of the sweetest ladies I'd ever met. Great customer service every single time I started with henna and eyebrows now I have received several of there many services. The way they pay attention to detail has kept me coming back for the last 3 years. I love pretty eyebrows and I look forward to seeing them each and every time.

ONLY let Sumi do your eyebrows. TRUST ME! Sumi is fantastic, but the other girls will have you leaving with some crooked asymmetrical BS. Yesterday I needed my eyebrows cleaned up and Sumi was busy doing eyelashes on someone else. I let the other woman wearing glasses (who probably needs her prescription checked) do my eyebrows because I have full brows with a pretty awesome shape, so they shouldn't be hard to mess up.

Well Glasses said "challenge accepted and somehow started one eyebrow 1/4 inch too far to the left, and failed to give even the slightest arch to my right brow. When I explained that they were crooked and asked her why the hell she would remove the hair so far back instead of in line with the bridge of my nose?? She just stared at me blinking. Like a fucking idiot. Then she tried to come at me with her thread of death to remove hair from the right brow to make it match which is dumb because I do not want two commas on my face instead of my once full length eyebrows. Then she just stood there blinking hard and I never wanted to deck someone in the throat so much before. I needed to get out of there ASAP.

I had to show Sumi who acknowledged that Glasses fucked them up and told me that next time she would have to do them personally. Then Glasses tried to tell me that I didn't have to pay. I insisted on paying because I don't want her dumb ass to think that she did me any favors. She needs to live with the shame that she charged money for fucked up eyebrows and that she should quit and do ANYTHING else with her life.

This place gets 4 stars because of Sumi, but don't let the other women near you.

I walked into this salon about 730p and was greeted with a smile and professionalism. I wanted a henna tattoo on each hand and URMILA freestyled and exceeded my expectations. These two ladies (Suma and Urmila)are very attentive and sweet. Would recommend to anyone.

I have been here twice already. The service is great. There are only two people working so depending on the day and time service may be slower than the usual. The first I got my eyebrows threaded and lashes. She (Sumi) did a great job with them, I personally just didn't like the synthetic feel. This time around I got my eyebrows threaded again and i got the mink set in size 13. The prices are reasonable compared to other lash and brow places. She also gives her personal number so you can contact her directly. Next I'll get my brows threaded again with the same lash fill but fuller.

I found this location through Yelp and decided to come get my eyebrows done for my birthday. I had 2 girls ahead of me but the woman doing the brows was moving pretty quick. I later found out that her name is Sumi and she's phenomenal! When it was my turn as she was doing my right eyebrow, I was telling her the other woman I used to go to at another place plucked my brows. Sumi told me I had very nice brows and not to pluck them, just come to her every 3-4 weeks. I'm so happy I visited Pretty Brow Threading! I will definitely continue to come here.

Today was my first time going to Sumi, I've been looking around for a great place to keep up with my eyebrows and being new to the area doesn't help, since I do not know where to go. I found her on Yelp and I do not regret taking a chance to put myself on her hands. Sumi is so sweet and her work is amazing. Usually am very sensitive to threading but she made it seem so quick and as painless as possible, I even brought my husband to get his eyebrows cleaned up as well. Shes great and it was worth the drive since I live in the Waldorf area. Definitely will come back.

I have gone here twice for mink eyelashes. The price is unbeatable and the owner takes her time with me. I like how she goes back to make them more full even if she is done. She cares about her work looking good. The only reason I'm giving 4 and not 5 stars is because they do not last as long as I have had mink last in my past. However , I still like her work and the lashes and will more than likely return.

I love my threaded brows. I was growing them out because I wasn't happy with the shapes from my previous experiences elsewhere--I told her the look I was going for and she delivered beautifully! I'm so happy with my brows.

I brought my 14 year old 9th grader in for a first time threading. She was extremely nervous about the pain level of the process. I told her for me it was a 3/10... the process for my daughter went smoothly and she said it was no pain! The technicians were extremely sensitive to my daughter's concerns and had her done right away with no wait. This establishment deserves 5 stars. I saw other clients' work while waiting for my daughter- the lashes done looked amazing!

My first time going and she was great. I got the long ass mink lashes.....it was extremely dramatic, never got them that long ever. But they looked remarkable. Got my brows done also so which means I will be going back and it's right around the corner where I live at is even better. Just wanted to throw out a few things for you newbies wanting to try these mink lashes...

1. I've noticed by me getting these long long lashes they do shed a lot quicker than getting the shorter ones. So next time I go, I will get my minks just not as long next time.

2. This is the second place I've been to get my lashes done. It was painless and relaxing, which I enjoyed the most.

3. If your lashes gets bunched up when you wake up in the morning, take a spoolie wand (I get mines from Mac or Sephora at the stand where you try on makeup) and brush the lashes at the top vs brushing your lashes from the bottom to the top. It will get stuck and pull out your real lashes that are connected to the mink lashes.

This place was amazing! At first it was a little hard to find, but it's right inside the Salon Parlor (or something with that kind of name lol). It was my first time and the woman was really nice about it. She was even kind enough to let my boyfriend record my face as she did the process. Both of the ladies were very friendly. For a first time threading client, I highly recommend coming here.

Hands down the best eyebrow threading in the DMV. I used to get my brows waxed but they were never exactly how i wanted them. I walked into Sumi's shop and explained to her what I wanted and she delivered.....as she does EVERY SINGLE TIME! Hands down AMAZING!

I absolutely love this place! I am very particular about my eyebrows, they are thick and dark. I had my eyebrows threaded, and they did a great job! My eyebrows looked perfect, they were symmetrical, and not a stray hair out of place. The location is a "booth" inside of Salon Plaza. It's the first booth to your right, after you walk into the Salon Plaza. The space is small, but there is adequate seating and there wasn't a long wait. I will definitely be returning!

I drove from Arlington to get my eyebrows threaded here and was not disappointed. The price was decent and she was busy, which means she must be good because people are willing to wait for her. I wanted to use the owner but another young lady did mines instead and she was okay. I will go back and try again with the owner one day when I'm in the area.

Came to this Silver Hill location yesterday. I met the famous Sumi and her Cohort Urrmila. Ms. Urrmila threaded and tinted my eyebrows. This location is a little small but it was chairs outside of the salon in case it got crowded. Friendly service, and I can see why Mrs. Sumi is popular she builds the rapport with her clients. Clients are definitely comfortable with her. Mrs. Urrmila did a great job on my eyebrows, and I will definitely be back. Best brow threading place I've ever been to. I've been getting my brows done here for more than a year now and my brows have looked amazing everything. Sumi takes her time and is very friendly. Sometimes there's a wait (especially when people are getting lash extensions) but if you're in a rush, it's best to call ahead to see how long the wait is.

Great customer service! Their location is inside Salon Plaza just so you don't get confused looking for the name outside of the shopping center. She is the first door on the right.

Moving on, I've only had my eyebrows threaded one time years ago at the mall. It hurt like hell and they weren't all that. Fast forward to over 10 years later, it still hurt like hell but they look great! I usually like getting my eyebrows done with wax and tweezers, to me it feels good, relaxing (weird I know). But I'm hoping that gives you an idea of what to expect with the threading in regards to the pain level. It hurts so bad but the precision that Sumi is able to achieve with the thread is amazing to say the least.

Sumi is awesome! Every single time I go to get mink lashes and my brows done, I am overly satisfied. I moved to Maryland from North Carolina in February of 2017 and have been coming to this wonderful shop ever since. She's found a forever customer in me!

I enjoyed the environment and the professionalism of the workers. They were very attentive and fun to be around. I received eyebrow threading, eyebrow tinting and a Henna tattoo. They did a great job threading my eyebrows! I was told the eyebrow tinting would last 2 weeks. However, it only lasted me 3-4 days. My Henna tattoo is still cute, but that too has faded away (almost).

I would get the threading and Henna tattoo again just not the eyebrow tinting, because that was a waste of money. But all in all, I enjoyed how great the workers were. Great treatment makes you want to return, because it is very hard to find these days.

I was sooo excited to find a threading place near me and especially one where I had amazing results. My brows were shaped perfectly and cleaned below the arch for a beautiful look. I'm so excited to return!

I got them for my high school senior pictures and all of my friends said my lashes look so natural and that they fit my eyes so well. Sumi is so down to earth and welcoming! My other experience getting lashes at a nail salon did not go nearly as well as the lashes I received with Sumi! The lashes can last up to 2 weeks and the way Sumi applied the lashes was in a way that my eyes don't feel uncomfortable at all, which is a HUGE plus for me because of my previous experiences where the lashes only lasted 4 days because they were bothering me so much. I am definitely coming back to see Sumi for my eyebrows and lashes!

She is absolutely amazing!!!! She did an amazing job on my eyebrows and lashes. I was very skeptical about getting lashes installed because the beauty salon makes them very heavy and unsightly. I can say that her lashes are 100% weightless!!!!!! I'm so happy, customer for LIFE!!!!

Amazing!!! My brows have never looked so good. The Henna is cute but the brown doesn't really show and the black fades in 24 hours. Will try the red next but the threading was everything.

Sumi is the truth! I'm from California (land of great eyebrow specialist) and recently moved to D.C. I messaged her late last night asking for a possible appointment today - she responded promptly within opening hours and got me in and out within 5 minutes! I was super adamant about maintaining a thick and full eyebrow shape, with very minimal arching as I like my brows to look naturally healthy and abundant. I only had to state it once and she laid my worries to rest after a few threads. The transformation is real. Don't waste your time with any other places, go see her! I'm definitely going back!

Sumi is a true gem!! I finally decided to go have some henna work done by Sumi based on her awesome reviews. I am thoroughly impressed with the work she did. She was quick and her prices are excellent!!! She was so cheerful and welcoming to every single client!! Every client that came in spoke of the recommendations they had received from friends. Her space is right in front with lots of natural lighting and plenty of seating. I am very particular about my eyebrows, I have gotten my eyebrows threaded before and they were not right. So I came across pretty eye brows. I went on Saturday afternoon, I got my eyebrows threaded and tinted they came out perfect. I also got my lashes done as well, the young lady talked me through the process. I was in and out within 30 minutes and they did a real great job! I will definitely be going back every 2 weeks!

This place is amazing! It was just what I needed after a super stressful week. They really came in clutch considering I had a wedding to attend the next day. When I walked in, they immediately greeted me and thanked me for coming in. Right then I knew it was going to be a great experience. It was like they actually REALLY appreciated me coming into their shop. You have to love that feeling. I was a walk-in and I only had to wait 10 mins before it was my turn. The technician cleansed my brow area before threading, which very few places do. She then spent about 15 mins making sure I had the perfect eyebrows. When I looked in the mirror...OOOHH WEEEE! I WAS A NEW PERSON! She really took her time and I really appreciate that when I'm getting my eyebrows threaded. I don't think my eyebrows have ever looked that good. I wish I still lived in this area because I would be there every 2 weeks for sure! Best eyebrow threading place ever!

This was my first time here, I had gotten my eyebrow tint, eyelashes, and eyebrows done. All of the services were done with such patience and done flawlessly. Unfortunately, I'm one of those unfortunate people whose eyes aren't comfortable with eyelash extensions. They look so pretty and I wish my eyes can adjust, but they can't. Despite that, I love her work, and she will always have a customer in me!

I first went to Summi in March 2016, at the other location, unfortunately when I went to see her again for my touch up she was no longer there, there's always a light at the end of the tunnel they say and I found her, 7 months later!!! My eyebrow thread job was awesome... and I tried the "tint"... warning to other modest professionals or military women, if you are trying a tint for the first time only do a 5-7 min for light brown, as opposed to 25 min i did for natural black - which was too much for me. Sumi, was nice enough to help reduce the color to my preference by scrubbing/brushing down with alcohol. Overall I'm pleased with my final results

Would definitely return! I typically have my eyebrows threaded in Tysons Corner but I didn't have an opportunity to drive there so I searched Yelp to find someone local. So happy that I discovered this place! It's located in a Salon Plaza, which allows beauticians and stylists an opportunity to reserve a small space without the restrictions of renting a booth in a salon. Plenty of parking available! Great service and the owner has such a pleasant demeanor and took care to ask how I wanted my brows styled. And although I felt my eyebrows were a little thinner than I wanted, the end result gave my face a softer look. With that said, the experience was all and all positive.

Sumi is so nice and sweet! I called in advance to make sure that the shop was open for Labor Day and I was excited when she told me yes! I've been to Planet Fitness a million times and couldn't believe that I never looked right next door. As soon as you walk into Salon Plaza, the shop is directly to the right. It's small, yet cute. There was a little bit of a wait since there were 3 people ahead of me, but I got to see Sumi's great eyelash and henna work!!!

On this visit, I came for eyebrow threading. Since my eyebrows are very thin, she didn't take off too much, but just enough to give me a clean and smooth arch. I was very pleased with the end result :) Sumi moves fast, but she does a really good job and she's so personable! That's a huge plus. The threading is usually $11, but just by mentioning Yelp, she gave me $1 off! She definitely earned her tip! She even recommended henna on my eyebrows for me to make them more pronounced, which I think I'll try next time! I came in on Friday afternoon & was assisted right away. There was only one other client in the shop who had just received a henna; it was so pretty & extensively covered her hand & forearm. I'll inquired for the price of her henna and found out they were only $15-$25 dollars at most! I'll definitely be back for that service.

I came into the shop to get threaded. It had been a while since I had my brows threaded so the difference afterwards was beautifully noticeable! I was sooo pleased after getting them done. It didn't even hurt that much and only took about 10 mins. They were precise, clean and looked nice.

I'm so pleased with the service! It was only $10 because it was my first time & I mentioned to her the wonderful reviews she had on Yelp.
